nikeelevet Posted January 12, 2006 Report Share Posted January 12, 2006 Hii set 1720 as my port cuz i live in toronto i use high speed lite, i followed the static ip thing and port forwarded 1720 on my router guide and everythingtest if the port is forwarded properly, gets error ! does not appear to be openis there anything else i can do ? my warez work and bittorrent client has worked b4 i have no firewalls is there anything else i havn't checked that i havn't do ? Firon Posted January 12, 2006 Report Share Posted January 12, 2006 Rogers throttles BitTorrent, get a new ISP. Port 1720 only works in SOME areas. If it doesn't work for you anymore, you're probably SOL.However, if you get an error on the test, it means you screwed up the forward and didn't do it right. nikeelevet Posted January 12, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 12, 2006 you were right i put the 2 zeros in the ip like 198.1 - 198.100 now it says network ok the port is open sweeet everything's working now and speed is ok thanks man !
