conrad1on
I've recently started using RSS feeds to automatically acquire certain files, but I've discovered slightly annoying problem that must have a simple answer, but I can't seem to find it.Namely, after I remove files are that have been successfully downloaded and fully seeded, they keep turning up again and immediately start seeding, which obviously chews up my bandwidth and interferes with whatever else I might be using it for at the time. This seems to happen about three times a day, despite the files in question being marked as 'Previously Downloaded' in the RSS filter list.Is there something really obvious here that I may have missed? thelittlefire
Depends on your favorite setups... Usually for episodic content you need to have "smart ep filter" enabled to only download each episode once. For other types of content 'm not sure if that functions as a "do it once" kind of thing as well.
conrad1on
Hmm... I was told that for torrents named using dates rather than episode numbers you should leave 'Smart ep. filter' unchecked. I'll give it a try and see what happens. DreadWingKnight
If the feed is getting constantly changed (such as mininova's feed that includes seed and peer information where it really shouldn't) then uT will think that the items are "new". conrad1on
Ah... this makes sense. I'll try a different feed.Edit: That seems to be it - I changed from Mininova feeds to tVRSS and so far torrents are only appearing once.
