uTorrent freezes computer after a few minutes - please help!

Hey guys, I recently switched my DSL service from AT&T to U-verse from the same company, and am now experiencing problems with uTorrent AND other torrent programs as well. My computer just freezes minutes (anywhere from 5-20) after I put something to download. The mouse doesn't move, Ctrl-Alt-Del does nothing...forced shut down is the only solution. Does anyone know what to do? I love using uTorrent, but I tried using another torrent program as a test and the same thing happened, so it can't be the program itself.

My computer also froze a few times at random when I went on YouTube. The video played for a while and then both the video and audio froze like a broken record. I'm running Windows XP SP2 and AVG as my anti-virus. I'm just confused right now because nothing like this ever happened before the switch. Anyone know what's wrong? Is my ISP somehow monitoring my torrent activity and somehow crashing my computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Start uTorrent. Run HijackThis & Process Explorer and copy/paste logs in this topic.

I'm not sure if I did this correctly. Please let me know if there's any other information I can supply. I couldn't use Crashdump because uTorrent didn't provide me with a log after the crash. The only file in my uTorrent folder is the executable.

Can you test wired? And on 1.8.1.

Hmmm, the only way I can test it wired right now is to find a REALLY REALLY long ethernet cable, which I don't have, and I would have to run it between a couple of rooms. I hope that's not the problem, because I wouldn't want to have to run more wires all over the place.

I've installed 1.8.1 once again...I'll try it again and see what happens, but again, I doubt it's from the program itself. I've had no problems downloading from other sources, so I don't see why this is happening with torrents.
