Ultima
IIRC, TalkTalk has been known to throttle BitTorrent.
Switeck
You could probably use an encrypted proxy (don't ask me how, I've never used one!)...or try highest encryption settings in uTorrent as talked about here:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=361747#p361747Don't expect miracles...but this may allow you to torrent at all! buzzrap
Wrote earlier and have now sorted the problem touchwood, I had been provided with a new router by talktalk, I didnt realise it had an integral firewall, when i disabled this, everything went back to normal. moogly
So just turn on the internal firewall in the router, you can add an execption about uT in it.A firewall router can be useful.
glooper
Could you explain how I turn off the internal firewall in my talk talk router? Just signed up to them and suddenly I can't get anything off utorrent. They've been no help.
