dlav
I've searched with iconextractor every version of utorrent on filehipo, but i can't find it.As you see in the picture, file type/change icon - points to shell32.dll, so i don't know where this icon is located on my hard drive...If anyone can get this icon for me i would be very happy. schnurlos
Have a look here: http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_change_the_system_tray_icon_.2F_GUI_icon_for_.C2.B5Torrent.3F and http://www.utorrent.com/skins.php here
dlav
I don't think that set is available in the "Program Icons" page. I know how to change icons using main.ico in /app data. The problem is i don't have ANY icons in that folder, where my utorrent stores the settings. I've looked at the Program Icons page and the closest set i could find is this - http://www.utorrent.com/skins/117.pngI have upgraded utorrent over and over bun never messed with its icons. The only change from default was this skin - http://www.utorrent.com/skins/203.pngI recently reinstalled windows xp, only to find that the icons i was used to are not available...So, anyone recognizes that set? I have an image of my old c, and i can restore it if someone knows where i might find what i'm looking for.
Ultima
That icon was generated by Windows for filetypes whose icons aren't explicitly set by the associated application. You won't be able to "find it." You'll need to create it (from the screenshot?) and use it as maindoc.ico.
thelittlefire
Welllll....that icon is the one included in the 1.8 uTorrent EXEs. shell32.dll is what pops up... because that's the default system icon cache.http://utorrent.com/skinning.php is what Ultima is talking about. maindoc.ico in the APPDATA% allows you to change the displayed icon to WHATEVER you want when you use "associate uTorrent with .TORRENT files" button from Preferences.
