JDPingpong
Up until a day ago, uTorrent plus using Your Freedom to have tracker data go through a proxy was working perfectly. All of a sudden, the trackers are unable to connect. My university blocks tracker data, which is why i use Your Freedom to run the tracker data through a proxy. In the uTorrent trackers tab under status, i get the following two messages,"connection closed by peer""Proxy error: Bad socks4 reply 2"In the Your Freedom messages tab, i get the following,"1: Client version: 20080822-010: using config file C:\Documents and Settings\*****\.ems.cfg0: Will use server ems07.your-freedom.de and connection type https0: sending authentication0: sending parameter: min_buffersize 15001: Server version: 20081031-010: Received server identity: ems07.your-freedom.de:85.214.22.1041: AUTH_OK: 0: received profile information1: starting ports0: ---Profile Free Freedom bw_uplink 65536 bw_downlink 65536 bind_permitted true relay_permitted true openvpn_permitted true fairqueue true numports 0 streams 10 streams_pending 200 streams_per_sec 20 ports none dst_acl permit any all---0: signalling bw_uplink=00: signalling bw_downlink=01: Current RTT: 140 ms1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 4 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: 127.0.0.1:8080 unable to connect to remote end, reason: connection refused (Connection refused)1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 10 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 12 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: 127.0.0.1:8080 unable to connect to remote end, reason: connection refused (Connection refused)1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 16 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: 77.247.176.136:80 unable to connect to remote end, reason: timeout1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 18 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 20 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: 127.0.0.1:8080 unable to connect to remote end, reason: connection refused (Connection refused)1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 24 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 26 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 28 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: 127.0.0.1:8080 unable to connect to remote end, reason: connection refused (Connection refused)1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 32 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker1: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL: BLOCKED_PROTOCOL 34 HTTP.GET.BitTorrent_Tracker"This method was working perfectly to connect to the tracker though a proxy then use my normal connection to download the files. My computer is hooked up to a router and i'm fairly positive i have all the correct ports forwarded, as i get the green check mark from uTorrent at the bottom. If anyone can shed any light on this situation with a few suggestions, i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
thelittlefire
Your proxy went down. Take it up with your VPN service Edit: It's either down or they/their host doesn't want you connecting to trackers anymore.
