My uTorrent lag the internet connection...

Hi, i'm new here, i'm from south america so my english is not so good.

Well every time i'm downloading anything my internet connection suffers from a horrible lag, i have to restart the websites lots of times and is way too painfully, even when i end the program, the unic solution is to restart my pc so you know is woo problematic, so i wanna know what can i do, and i had this problem with Ares too...
