stryder1587
I just had my computer reformatted so it's a blank slate. I downloaded a few things and I'm assuming one of those, or windows is conflicting/blocking torrent downloads. I am unable to download the torrent to my computer, even before opening that file to start the torrent. I can download other files no problem though. I thought maybe it's just that site, so I tried torrents from other places...it happens to be just .torrent files that I can't download. I have installed lavasoft adware se, spybot, avg free, firefox v3 w/ a bunch of extensions, and that's about it. The windows firewall is set to allow utorrent, defender doesn't have the program on blocked. I really dont know what the problem is.

Switeck
Your ISP, Rogers Cable in Canada, is notorious for disrupting BitTorrent traffic.I've not heard of them blocking .torrent downloads entirely though...
