24mondays
Hello,I've been using utorrent for a few years now with no problems, but earlier today it stopped working correctly. When I attempt to load a torrent, I receive this error message:"UNABLE TO LOAD. "file:///(torrent name)" The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect."This happens with any torrent file I try.Any ideas?Thank you
thelittlefire
Where are you trying to save the torrent?
Ultima
Are you... trying to load from URL? I can't see why you'd need file:/// as a URI scheme name.
3TTE
I've had the same problem for about the same amount of time. I just corrected it by defining where to store torrents:"Preferences" >> "Directories" >> "Location of .torrents" >> checked "Store .torrent in" >> created a sub-folder in the same folder as "Location of Downloaded Files"
