Used Singapore's MobileOne mobile broadband with package same as above, my d/l speed can reach more than 50kBps.
Ultima Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 ... Select xx/384k in the Speed Guide, and don't arbitrarily set the upload rate to 5 unless you have a really good reason to (you almost definitely won't).http://www.slackware.com/torrentsHow do torrents from here run?And FYI, your ISP has historically been known to hamper BitTorrent connections.

Ultima Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 I meant that you should try a torrent from the site I linked to. But here's the thing:- TMnet is known to interfere with BitTorrent traffic- Mobile connections don't work well with BitTorrent
kkchai Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 Any idea how to now let TMnet interfear?Mobile connection mean something like mobile broadband, wireless modem?
Switeck Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 Outgoing encryption set to enabled or forced?Legacy connections blocked?Tried disabling uTorrent features which generate more connections (and thus "noise" for your ISP to detect and block)? These are DHT, LPD, and Resolve IPs.Peer Exchange doesn't generate more connections, however it WILL get noticed if you aren't encrypting both in and out connections.
Ultima Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Mobile connection meaning you receive the actual internet connection wirelessly -- not through a cable from outside (which you can then route through a wireless router).
