sebmex
Hi,i downloaded latest version 0.361 and replaced the .zip file (with rename in webui.zip) in the utorrent directory in Program Files. Before that I successfully updated utorrent to 1.8.1 version.I flushed the cache from my distant browser, but still I have in my explorer 7 top bar 0.315 version of webgui displayed ...what should I do ?Thank youSebmex
thelittlefire
It goes with settings.dat not the EXE. %APPDATA%\utorrent. OR delete it, then when you try webui from 1.8 it will auto-download where it needs to go.
sebmex
hum, ok, but I have no settings.dat file in this directory, nor in any other directory of my computer.I deleted the webui.zip file and still after restarting utorrent, i can access the webui over the web !! 0.315 of course ;-) ...another idea ?thank youSebmex
Lord Alderaan
Windows File Search sucks and not being able to find a file with it means absolutely nothing. You DO have a settings.dat file and it can probably be found by typing %appdata%\utorrent in Start -> Run. Ultima
On a slightly related note...http://www.voidtools.com/Everything is an awesome file searcher for NTFS. I've never liked the idea of search indexers, and never need to find files by content -- only by name. As such, Everything works perfectly (for me anyhow ). Lord Alderaan
I use the build in searcher of Total Commander myself I often DO need to search for content and that is where Windows File search fails even harder (it only certain extensions as searchable).
