cx420ns
does it mean anything? will they stop seeding themselves eventually, or do i have to stop them manually(when not force started)? also, if i force start a bunch of torrents at once (for downloading), say 15 or so, does this make me a leecher? i always have something seeding, even if not downloading =) i tryyyyy to be nice!if this is in the faq already i apologize, i did read it but didnt find these answers. thelittlefire
It's in the FAQ.Force start doesn't use the queue, so nothing happens automatically. Don't use force start. Read the manual, press F1 in the client.
moogly
I never used forced start. I don't really know if that feature is useful!
thelittlefire
The purpose of force start is to allow users the OPTION of not using the queue.. aka "do it now". All clients have this feature, but it's called something different by each of them. (i.e. in Transmssion it's "Resume selected right away")Also it sounds like you didn't use http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php to set your connection speed. You really get no benefit from starting more torrents than you can handle.
