KBS Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 I purchased and downloaded uTorrent along with other software and the directions tell me that I should "search" and pick from locations available under the search arrow but when the software installed it didn't have any locations as the video showed. Can someone help me with helping to fix this problem &/or understanding why it did not install the way the directions went?? I have a Vista system and version 1.8.1
thelittlefire Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 utorrent is free, you paid for it?? Demand your money back/dispute the chargeYou can add search engines http://google.com/search/?q=utorrent+search+engine
KBS Posted November 10, 2008 Author Report Posted November 10, 2008 Thank you so much for your reply... I had no idea it was free software!! I will dispute. Could you possibly answer another question? The only search choices are Google and BitTorrent. Is there a way to add others such as IsoHunt so that they open in uTorrent? Or is it suppose to only open inside of a Browser? To make it work I go to IsoHunt.com in my browser and search there... then when I find what I'm looking for - open with uTorrent. Is this normal? Thanks in advance and I'm sure you can tell I'm new to this.
