trouble connecting with all sites except one.

Hi,

I have just moved back from Asia to Australia and besides the incredible low internet speeds I have a problem. I can only seem to connect to peers from two site, private ones that I am a member of.....if I try to connect to another site (any of the big ones), it doesnt say error but it never starts the download...just stays at 0% with no activity but it will show peers and leechers...for example...seeds 0(675) leechers 0(5678)....so any clues as to why I cant get them to connect?....would really appreciate it...thanks
