Crash Error

[eNoux]

Hello, ive been using µtorrent for few years and it has always worked smooth for me but now im getting an error wich says:

µTorrent has crashed. A crash dump has been saved as: C:\uTorrent\12639-utorrent.f7d9.dmp.

How Would you like to proceed?

( ) Just relaunch the application

( ) Submit this dump to the developers

( ) Don't relaunch the application or send a crash dump

[ OK ]

When i mark "just relaunch the application" this error pops up again....

Anybody know why this happens and how i can fix this?

I cant live whitout µtorrent!

My first time getting heap_corruption ( heap_corruption!heap_corruption ) from a minidump. I remember something about a heap corruption bug being mentioned but, don't remember what happened with that.

eNoux, you have exacly the same problem I've been having. I too, posted a thread of such a topic. However, everytime I re-instal uTorrent to hopefully get it to work, I get the same thing with the same crash dump errors. And the bad thing is that it was working solid, like... 5-6 weeks ago... Gah, now it as well as other Torrent programs, aside from Azureus will not work for me. So I'm left to bathe in the ugliness that is Vuze... and boy... does it suck in comparison to uT... Just wish there was a fix. In all, I think that reformatting will solve the overall problem, but I won't be able to accomplish that until I get home. ... /diesalittleinside

Yep when i reinstall the same error pops up again and again. But i managed to install program called BitComet and im using is it in the meantime. It doesn't go near µTorrent in the quality but it still works.

And thx GTHK will check this when i get home.

Avira has been known to be at least partially to blame for some crashes.
