Can't seed my completed torrents after utorrent upgrade

Hi,

I upgraded utorrent to 1.8.1 and I have a blank screen when opening the software, even after entering good folders parameters ...

I try to add a completed file to seed it, it checks the file for a minute (no progress in the % bar) and then begins downloading it as if I didn't have the file already !

What's the solution ?

I can't neither reuse the partly downloaded files in my temp folder ...

Do I have lost everything ?? (500 Go...)

Use the migration guide (skip steps if necessary):

You need to reload each .torrent and choose the good folder where are the (un)complete data. uT will force a re-check (to 100% for complete torrents) and leech/seed again.

ANYWAY don't forget to create a new exception in your firewall for the new version of uT and delete the previous one.

ok, when I point to the complete file, it begins checking and before ending I have an error message :

Data error : cyclical redundance control (translated from french message).

Huu?!?

You have a CRC error. It's surely from your HD.

Stop the torrent and force re-check. Restart the torrent.

Anyway maybe you should try to run chkdsk.

NB: tu as une erreur CRC, es-tu sur que ton DD n'est pas abimé ? Essaie de faire un check-disk pour voir si il y a des erreurs.

chkdsk done 0 faulty clusters...
