Vitross Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 When I download something the download speed changes all the time. Sometimes its 80kb/s then its 5kb/s. On the bottom of the screen is a red circle with a exclamation mark on it. There I set my connection type which is 1mb. Then I test if my port is forwarded properly. It says: "Error! Port 59416 does not appear to be open." So I go to that site to map a port. My router is Belkin F5D7050, it is not on that list. On the website it says "If you do not see the program you are forwarding ports for, be sure to visit our Default Guide for this router ", but when I click on a link there is an error " You have reached this page in error. We update PortForward.com very often, so old links sometimes become invalid. If you are sure that this page should exist or encounter a broken link, please let us know by visiting our forum."Help!
Switeck Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 Does your router not have a manual?Download one from Belkin?1st and 2nd links in my signature for other connection problems.Bad settings (way too high or low) can create more problems.
