linyx Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 I have done some searching, and the best thing that i can come up with is that all bittorrent trackers are being blocked by my ISP. I am sorry if there is an easy fix for this (and if there is could you please point me to it?) but i have only managed to either use DHT (very slow) or spend hours going through proxy servers to find one that would work for a little while. My question is A) is there an easy way to bypass this or what is a good proxy site to use? Thanks in Advance!
GTHK Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 To be sure, is it the same for a torrent from here? http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/If it really is just tracker communication, using Tor on tracker comm. would probably work (don't use Tor for actual torrenting).
linyx Posted November 13, 2008 Author Report Posted November 13, 2008 Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is the same on there. I didn't wait for DHT to start working but regular trackers didn't work. I will check out Tor also. Thanks!
