ItsCrunchy
Hey all! Lets see, apparently after installing the latest uTorrent which would be 1.8.1, I've been having problems with files & such. Somehow i can't delete my files using uTorrent, especially .mp4 files. Before with an older version, there were no problems whatsoever. Now, there's tons of windows hanging & such. Anyway to resolve this bug?This is the log using HiHackThis;Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 6:18:58 PM, on 15/11/2008Platform: Windows Vista (WinNT 6.00.1904)MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16757)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exeC:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exeC:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exeC:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\SynTPEnh.exeC:\Windows\OEM02Mon.exeC:\Program Files\Sigmatel\C-Major Audio\WDM\sttray.exeC:\Windows\WindowsMobile\wmdc.exeC:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\jusched.exeC:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Webcam Manager\DellWMgr.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\issch.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\9.0\SharedCOM\RoxWatchTray9.exeC:\Program Files\Dell\MediaDirect\PCMService.exeC:\Program Files\FlashGet\flashget.exeC:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exeC:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exeC:\Program Files\Dell Support Center\bin\sprtcmd.exeC:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\GrooveMonitor.exeC:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exeC:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2009\avp.exeC:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exeC:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exeC:\Windows\ehome\ehtray.exeC:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\BTTray.exeC:\Program Files\Digital Line Detect\DLG.exeC:\Program Files\Dell\QuickSet\quickset.exeC:\Program Files\SetPoint\SetPoint.exeC:\Windows\ehome\ehmsas.exeC:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exec:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\BtStackServer.exeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\khalshared\KHALMNPR.EXEC:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\9.0\SharedCOM\CPSHelpRunner.exeC:\Windows\system32\wuauclt.exeC:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exeC:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin\openvpn-gui-1.0.3.exeC:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin\openvpn.exeC:\Program Files\Netscape\Navigator 9\navigator.exeC:\Windows\explorer.exeC:\Program Files\uTorrent\uTorrent.exeC:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exeC:\Windows\system32\SearchFilterHost.exeC:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exeC:\Users\Shane Gordon\Downloads\HiJackThis\HijackThis.exeR1 - DreadWingKnight
Among other things, roxio media indexer is known to cause problems.KiS 2009 also at least had some problems.
ItsCrunchy
Though when using KiS 2009 with an older version of uTorrent gave me no problems at all. The hangings, transfering & deleting all began when i upgraded to version 1.8.
Firon
Others had problems with KIS 2009 in general, regardless of ut. See if removing it fixes your problems.
ItsCrunchy
Okay so i shall remove KiS 2009, though anything else?
Firon
Once you disable Roxio Watch and ditch KIS, you shouldn't have any more issues.
ItsCrunchy
I shall do so now & i'll get back to you with the results soon. Thank you Firon.Edit; Shall remove 1 by 1 starting with KiS 2009 followed by Roxio.
Firon
You don't need to uninstall Roxio (if you wanna keep it), you can just disable the Roxio Watch feature.
ItsCrunchy
Okay i'm not too sure about Roxio so how do i disable the Roxio Watch feature? And which anti-virus works well with uTorrent? Does AvG work fine?

ItsCrunchy
Thank you, also i've disable Roxio for now & am testing whether there are any crashes. If so then i will remove KiS 2009 because i'm still downloading AvG 8.Edit; Sorry for the double post but i figured that editing my post won't notify you or something. I've tried transfering files after disabling the Roxio Watch feature & it could not work. So i'm uninstalling KiS 2009 & shall see how it goes.
