slow speeds for game files

When im downloading game files take alot longer than music or movies why is that? they download at 10 to 20 kb I followed a youtube tutorial how to make utorrent go really really fast. i have utorrent 1.8 and music downloads at like 75 kb or so please help.n I have qwest dsl 1.5mb i have a Actiontec® GT701-WG modem. I just did a firmware upgrade to my modem it did not help. also my speed test results are 1054 download 165 upload

Don't use these bad tutorials on YT, use the Speed Guide:

that didn't help im actually getting slower speeds when i changed to those settings.

YouTube videos give some of the worst settings you'll find. Do NOT believe anything you see in them, because the people who make the videos (for the most part) don't have a clue about what they're saying.

Do run the test torrents in the setup guide.

games just seem to keep downloading around 10 kb the availability is at 16 I have utorrent turbo booster running also avg antivirus firewall turned off up load limit 92 kb connections per torrent 100 max active torents 6 upload slots 6 connections 250 max active downloads 5 my speed tests are download 1269kb upload 443kb the port says open protocol encryption enabled network status green check netmax half open set to 8 connected directly to qwest actiontec modem xp sp2 qwest service provider dsl

One of the YouTube videos I watched...the maker actually said something like "I don't know what these [advanced] settings do...but this is how I changed them."

Really, do NOT trust your internet connection with those settings...because some of them are bad enough that ISPs may ban people for it!

utorrent turbo booster is almost certainly hostile software that should not be used on a computer...EVER!

what do you mean my settings are no good? what should i make them as?

If uTorrent's settings don't match your connection, your resulting download and upload speeds will likely be much lower than otherwise!

YouTube settings assume all connections will work ok with their suggestions, but their suggestions are actually BAD for ANY connection!

Your upload speed max seems to be very low -- maybe 160-256 kilobits/second?

(That's only about 16-30 KiloBYTES/second upload speed! ...and probably only 16 KiloBYTES/second if your speed test results are accurate.)

It's very hard to get fast download speeds from others when you can give so little back.

On torrents that have LOTS of seeds and few peers, your download speeds will likely be fine because seeds don't NEED you to give them anything.
