F8L23 Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Question 1) I downloaded a batch with a lot of files and i only wanted certain ones. But some of the ones I wanted to skip downloaded as well. Why does it do this? It isn't a problem, I'm only curious. Question 2) Sometimes for instance there will be 20 seeders and say 50 peers, but for some reason I'm not connected to anyone. This can be semi-annoying especially when its a torrent from a private site where ratios count. Again this isn't really important and I'm not complaining, just curious. Thank you

Switeck Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 ComCast's Sandvine BitTorrent disruption equipment often allows only single-digit TOTAL connections by a BitTorrent client. For me in the past, sometimes they wouldn't even tolerate ONE connection for more than 20 seconds no matter WHAT I did...short of a totally encrypted VPN.
