quantumtheo
I'm still using azureus 2.5 and I'm wondering if i'm missing out on any speed or connectivity by not upgrading to something newer... Vuze looks like crap and I like the smallness of Utorrent... Just wondering what the thoughts would be here Thanks!
Ultima
There shouldn't be much of a difference in speed. The question here is, is there anything from Azureus that you need badly that µTorrent doesn't already have?

quantumtheo
Yeah I know I'm living in the dark ages w/ 2.5 And thanks for the advice, Ultima, I appreciate it
Switeck
Quite likely, uTorrent v1.8.1 has capabilities (such as IPv6, better stealthing from hostile ISPs, and better able to run on slow computers on slow lines) that azureus 2.5 doesn't have. thelittlefire
One extra thing they allowed in 4 is to dynamically change the UI. Please see http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/The_Azureus_ExperienceIt may be time to update your JAR and give vuze a chance Remember it's primarily a skin change, but it DOES have the benefit of the extra years of coding.
