Problem with the RSS Filter Settings

Hey guys,

I'm having some problems with the RSS Filter settings in the latest utorrent version 1.8.1:

While TVSHOW* or THIS?IS?AFILTER* is working perfectly, im having a problem with a slight modification: TVSHOW*-CREW stops working for some reason, even though the same Filter was working for ages with the old versions (1.6.1 and 1.7.7).

Any idea what I did wrong or what could cause this problem?

Well, what are you setting in the filter? With characters like that you presumably need to use "use original name"... since - isn't alphanumeric and uT doesn't care about "tags".

Remember you can always check the currently selected feed(s) against the current filter by pressing "?"which shows the last 4 matches.

Yeah, I know about that function and I'm using it, still doesn't work :/

Also it seems kinda weird that the same filter that works with 1.6.1 doesn't work with 1.8.1, you agree?

you have to turn on "filter matches original name instead of decoded name". Make sure it's still on.

Still waiting on filter properties...

RSS was changed a bit for 1.8, so yes I would imagine there are cases where previous filters worked. (And I count the changes to be improvements, even if it means you need to change your filter to be more literal)

Thanks for your answer Firon, but as I told to thelittlefire it was and still is activated.

However, I figured it has to be some tracker error, didn't work for ONE particular torrent (still have NO CLUE why it doesn't work), but for the rest of the torrents a similar (SHOW*-CREW) filter did work well.

Should have tryed it with more than ONE torrent before my I came to my - wrong - conclusion that it has to be a bug/change in the RSS system of utorrent.
