I've just moved to talktalk and all was well for a few days (50kB/s), now I can barely get 5kB/s download speed. If it helps/relevant I'm UK based. Thanks. Switeck Posted November 23, 2008 Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 AOL, Carphone Warehouse, Tisicali, TalkTalk ...are all REALLY bad.BT Central is at least somewhat bad.Smaller town-specific DSL providers may be the best to go with.You will have to ask around...like at a computer store or internet cafe....As well as doing searches online. I beleive Orange are an ISP - ironically they were my first internet provider many moons ago when they were Freeserve in dial-up days. I'll investigate them as they did a good job.
