vista fix for "error: access is denied" status

vista fix for "error: access is denied" status:

this problem arose with my utorrent program a few days ago.

i narrowed the problem down to the fact that the downloads folder was set to "read only".

if i changed this and applied it when i went into folder properties again the read only setting would be back.

simple fix: apparently theres some permissions BS in vista.

go to the directory where you have installed utorrent. right click on utorrent.exe and run it as administrator.

i know its a stupid problem but i'm sure someone else might run into this sometime.
