Speed and peer connection issues

just sat there for about 10 mins waiting for peers and from 15000 plus i get 1 peer to waited and waited and its now been 20 mins and i now got 2 peers, but no speed, best speed so far as been between 3kb to 4kb max, and that was for only a couple of seconds, getting the green light for open ports so no problems there, will try again in the morning now and report back

Peers yes but seeds are the 1's that will give you the speed! Try a different torrent which has less peers and more seeds.

right you can forget that last post problem solved, per torrent limit was set to 1, so as i changed it the seeders connected straightway......Doh!

in my defense it was late when i first posted and NoOneButMe its Intel Mac

right one problem i have noticed since fixing the above problem is that when you use the bandwidth preferences limits and when you use the quick options along the bottom task bar nothing happens, just downloads and seeds and whatever speeds your getting for downloading and your ISP limit when seeding.
