RobynRex
When ever I start firefox 3 or Microsoft outlook my utorrent stops getting incoming connections and goes to the yellow triangle. I tested this out cause of problems I was having with it. I have forwarded the ports and I tried different ports but it still is happening. I have a 2 wire router and I hosted the app and put in the port that I wanted forward that is listed on Utorrent it works for awhile until I start the browser and or Microsoft outlook. Thanks. Ultima
What does the Speed Guide show your current settings to be? What do you have net.max_halfopen set to?
RobynRex
xx/2mbit. Upload limit 186.0 kbs, upload slots 8, connection per torrent 100, max active torrents 9, connection(global) 750, max active downloads 750. net.max_halfopen is 8. Also it still is downloading the torrent to my computer, so not sure what to make of it. Thanks
Switeck
Are you SURE your connection can upload at 186 KiloBYTES/second?...because that's what you told uTorrent to try to do.
Ultima
Unless your ISP actually gives you 2mbit/s upload, you have bad settings prone to overloading your connection.http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992
URBi
Are you SURE your connection can upload at 186 KiloBYTES/second?...because that's what you told uTorrent to try to do. .I don't understand I could set max UL speed to e.g. 5000 and nothing change,it's still behave like before. Utorrent working,Web page and IM also. So I'm curious how it is possible. (I have 2mbit/s UL too)
Ultima
And increasing it would be the exact opposite of what you need/want to do. Check the link I posted regarding interrupted connections.
Switeck
Try disabling DHT (both kinds), LPD, and Resolve IPs (right-click in Peers window of an active torrent). If you manually port forward, disable UPnP and NAT-PMP.2nd link in my signature for alternate settings for uTorrent.
