PigBrother
I have a problem with µtorrent 1.4 and Zyxel P334 router with DHT on. In a few seconds the router drops me and write in the log "host <my IP> has exceeded his connection limit". Without DHT everything is OK. The funny part is that the piece of junk Bitcomet works flawlessly with DHT on.It is such a big difference between those clients DHT strategies? torrentcrazy
DHT gives problems with my Zyxel 645 Modem (built in NAT router) also. At this moment everything is working fine with DHT enabled, but DHT reports 0 peers. I have no idea why DHT is showing 0 peers. I have the patch to increase half-open connections, but DHT still causes my modem/router to disconnect. Any suggestions or insights?*edit* I disabled DHT and haven't been disconnected once. I'm still downloading with the max I have set in utorrent, so won't be enabling it any time soon.
Firon
I guess µTorrent generates a lot more DHT connections, perhaps for better DHT performance I guess you can either get a new router or turn it off.
