Ultima
http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=49885Can't at the moment. It'll cause a crash in whatever application attempts to open the .torrent file in µTorrent.Whenever it's fixed, assuming there isn't an option added to the preferences, you can probably change the .torrent file association in the .torrent file properties. LA_Punk
You mean that you want to change from Vuze to uTorrent? What I did was right-click on a torrent file, Get Info window selected the defult application to open these kinds of files choose open with uTorrent and hit the button below it that says to change all. Now every time I double-click on a torrent file it only opens in uTorrent.
thelittlefire
You're not able to change it from the "Open With" dialog and reset the association to a different .app??
NoOneButMe
@thelittlefire: Somehow i think its a matter of "not knowing that could be done" rather then "not being able to do it at all"
thelittlefire
I asked it that way because it wasn't working back when I tried, WANTING to open .torrents with uT/Mac instead of Transmission. Now I gave up, and instead enjoy dragging torrents to the sidebar in the uT/Mac window
lancelott
Nice to know I wasn't going crazy...When I set up uTorrent to be the "default" program to open torrent files it was causing the computer to freeze temporarily and Safari if opened to crash...Any ETA for this bug to be fixed?
