I'm sure there is something i'm missing like in windows defender or with something stupid. I'm no newb to Utorent, i've been able to open this port for xp and I believe for the vista on another computer in the house but this computer just happens to be my Achilles heel. any Ideas?Tnx, Cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

NinjaFoxx Posted December 4, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 4, 2008 Ok so with the vista 64 bit setting up a static ip is my problem. there is a tcp/ipv6 and an tcp/ipv4 in the properties of my local area connection...When i set a static ip for the v4 i get hte feeling i need to do the same for the v6 due to the fact i have no connection...and i can't really find support for that.
