ShadowTek Posted December 5, 2008 Report Share Posted December 5, 2008 I have been using a proxy with utorrent, and I just noticed for the first time that there was a direct connection from my local IP to 72.20.34.145, which is this site. I assume that this is simply the utorrent updater, since I do have that enabled, but it seemed a little coincidental that I had just enabled DHT for the first time since I started using a proxy, and I just happened to notice this as being the first connection that didn't use the assigned proxy.So, is the utorrent updater the only connection that will not use the proxy, or are there any others?-Update-Ok, I just disabled the updater, wasn't using the DHT with the current torrent, and I just saw another utorrent connection from my local IP, this time to an IP in the Netherlands.So what's up with that?
