gfreeman
Hello!I'm using uTorrent for downloading to an USB hard-disk conected to a laptop. The problem is that, from time to time, the usb ports fall back to 1.1 speed (usb power drops), the usb hdd gets disconnected and uTorrent reports "Error: The system cannot find the specified file" (or something like that - I have it localized). However, the usb ports run full speed again imediately and the hdd is reconnected with the same drive letters as before. Is there any way to have uTorrent recheck from time to time if the download location is available again to resume the download? I leave the laptop on for downloading over night and this problem prevents it for completing downloading...Thank you!
moogly
I don't think so. I you have a problem to specify the file path, uT will warn you.Anyway it's not a good idea to use bittorrent with your USB external HD powered only by USB ports. An external energy source is better.
