clarizard Posted December 7, 2008 Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 Each time i start uTorrent all my torrents have disappeared and the settings have reset them selves so that i have to put in new settings every time i start uTorrent and i have to reload my torrents every time it restarts. I tried to resolve by starting over from the beginning and uninstalling and reinstalling 1.8.1 and it is now telling me: The file 'C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\uTorrent\settings.dat' is in use by another process and can't be opened and The file 'C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\uTorrent\resume.dat' is in use by another process and can't be opened.Nothing else is running at the moment so can't figure it out.
