i don't seem to be able to uninstall any of the roxio stuff. i don't want it but i can't get it off. anyone know how i can do so?

If you don't care to leave it on, you can start > run > services.msc find the process, right click, stop, right click disable. . . that will keep any simultaneous interaction.
