Why does it check all the time?!?! Pls help

Hello,

I only had this problem recently after i medddle around with some settings. Now, everytime i start utorrent, it would check every single download one at a time and it take ages!! As in the status would be 'checked -.--%'

Previously, it would jus start downloading automatically.

Pls assist. How can i disable the checking and start download automatically.

Enable bt.graceful_shutdown in Preferences > Advanced.

I changed the bt.graceful_shutdown to true. Then i restarted utorrent but it stil continue checking the other downloads except for 1 which it has already checked previously.

and 1 more question, if i were to update and instal the latest utorrent, would the settings i made be back to default? i wouldnt want my settings to be changed.

Settings are retained during upgrades.

if uTorrent is checking every start, something on your system is interfering with it saving its resume state.
