Fenris-77
I'm not sure this is an issue with uTorrent, but someone here still might be able to help. I just moved to Norway and the place where I'm living has free wireless. I can connect to the net just fine, but uTorrent won't connect. I read the faq's about Port Forwarding, but I'm not sure how to apply them to a wireless connection when I don't have a router. The internet is a community service thing here, run by the municipality, so I'm not even sure where to begin.I'm pretty sure I have my firewall set to allow uTorrent to connect, so it's probably not that, but I'm pretty much a noob so i can't be sure. When I run a check on the port uTorrent has selected I get a message that tells me its not open. Can anyone suggest where I could even begin sorting this out? Thanks very much to anyone with any ideas.Cheers
Ultima
Port forwarding can't be done if you don't control the router (and you don't if you're using someone else's freely-provided WiFi).
