vComet Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Right click on the entry and uncheck resolve IP's from the menu I would think will give you the ip..Choke means he doesn't want to share/upload or his upload slots are full and is sharing with others in the swarm..
totalz Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 Thanks for the reply, but resolved IP is the same.[2001:0:4137:9e50:1085:6:bde4:5bf7]:57876
thelittlefire Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 ipfilter.dat . . . doesn't work on IPv6
Switeck Posted December 14, 2008 Report Posted December 14, 2008 Add this to your ipfilter.dat file if you're really insistent on blocking an ip over what's probably harmless messages:2001:0:4137:9e50:1085:6:bde4:5bf7
totalz Posted December 14, 2008 Author Report Posted December 14, 2008 I'm not blocking this guy because of those message, lol!!
vComet Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Ahh didn't see it was IPv6 address. If you have windows you might have IPv6 tools available to you but they might have to be installed or turn on.I have not play with Teredo or other IPv6 tunneling software but the ICFv6 in WinXP might help you.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817778/EN-US/Getting a good firewall to filter IPv6 has been slow coming even though in Oct of this year we use up another IPv4 block. We are running out of IP's faster now and at the current rate somewhere around 832 days from now IPv4 will be use up!http://www.ipv6forum.org/ipv4_exhaustion.php*Update*I just looked at my firewall and notice that there is a feature to block IPv6 address using the format in your post. Here is the link to Outpost:http://www.agnitum.com/products/outpost/You may block IPv6 address by these steps:-----------------------------------------/Settings/Network Settings/System Wide Rules/Low Level Rules/Add/Check the box that's labeled "Where remote Address is"/Click on the blue text in bottom window labeled "and remote address is Undefined"/Click on IPv6 box and add the full address in the format from your peer list.
