Pumbaa25
G'day, I am using Version 0.9.0.3 (13802) and today all the files that were in the "Completed" section of my system have all disappeared from uTorrent but are still there on the HD. It is now trying to re download them all again. What has happened and can I fix this ? Please help ASAP.
Let's Sekuhara!
Within µTorrent right click on one of those files and choose "Show In Finder". That should at least tell you where the file is located. If I'm understanding your question correctly...As for getting µTorrent to actually save to the destination you want it to...I'm having some trouble with that myself. Pumbaa25
Everything was just fine until they all disappeared today. They are all still there on my HD but they have disappeared from the "Completed" section of uTorrent. No files to seed now and i really don't want uTorrent downloading them all again.Grrrrrrr.Maybe time to go back to VUSE. NoOneButMe
If the files are where they downloaded to, just reopen the .torrents. uTorrent can resume seeding from where it left off.
Pumbaa25
That is easier said than done as I have set uTorrent to delete torrent after opening.Grrrrr.Doesn't explain why it occurred ?Thanks anyway.Joe
thelittlefire
Why did it happen.. sounds like your resume.dat was corrupted. Did you shutdown unexpectedly? How about force quit uT.app?

NoOneButMe
uTorrent copies the files to $HOME/Library/Application Support/uTorrent. You can resume from there.
kjk
Well, not really. A leaked version had a bug where it would download to $HOME/Library/Application Support/uTorrent and since those settings were persisted, those who installed official version after using leaked version might get stuck with it until they change it in preferences.uTorrent downloads to a location specified in preferences, ~/Downloads being the default.
