moogly
Hmm, that sounds like an hardware problem...I advice you to run chkdsk to control your HD. Maybe you have some bad sectors.
thelittlefire
IO error... Ctrl-P > Advanced > Disk Cache settings? You should try reducing coalesce_write_size by 50% until the error stops...

chicknfood
I'm getting this same problem with files saved to an external hard drive. The drive is new and doesn't have any issues. I/O error. Changing the coalesce value didn't help. The torrent just continued to stop at 40.6% every time. Any ideas?
