Drop of speed

Hi everybody,

my problem is that when i start uTorrent and add some files to download from foreign trackers it start to download them approx at 10-15kb/s, it can download them with this speed for hours, then suddenly speed goes up and holds at 50-90 for every torrent and after a while it goes down again... Also if i add torrent from local tracker, it start to download it very fast, rising from 100kb/s to 2mb/s. then it suddenly slowing down and every active torrent dropping to 1-2kb/s download speed. after a while (3-5 minutes) they all go back to 10-15kb/s..

tried to tweak settings as described on this forum, update network card drivers and nothing seemed to cure this problem. I'm on cable connection with 2mb/s down and 1mb/s up speeds

What settings are you using in uTorrent (Speed Guide ones CTRL+G will do)?

How high is your upload speeds in uTorrent?

Upload limit 1mb/s

Upload slots 25

Connections per torrent 125

Connections global 800

Max active torrents 15

Max active downloads 15

My upload speeds are differ from 1kb/s to 1.5mb/s (when no upload limit defined) usually it very high for torrents from local trackers but can be around 5kb/s with 15 peers connected for foreign...
