omikjam
Sometimes utorrent spikes at 100% (with active torrents), until I kill and restart it.. Not sure what you guys might need but I included a shark sample and a regular sample from activity manager (maybe a little redundant ). Hope it helps.http://www.mediafire.com/?j4jmizvwiceUsing the latest version.. sonvivant
since last night i have been having a curiosity with utorrent 0.9.0.4 ..my fan is running as low as 1797 rpm before starting utorrent, as high as 6777 rpm after utorrent runs for a couple of minutes, and maintaining high speeds. i don't even have any torrents actually active when it happens. this appears to have started with the recent update to 9.0.4, didn't have it on earlier versions.i recognize that we are running betas on macs right now but am hoping to get this resolved. any help or information appreciated.thankssmacbook 13" intel dual core w/2gb ram, minimal other processes running, certainly nothing intensive. ebricca
I downgraded to the old version 0.9.0.3 from … .the weird thing was .. even though it used up 100% of the cpu.. but after unchecking rechecking DHT in 0.9.0.3 the problem didn't happen again ..but unchecking the DHT in *both* versions firstand then *restarting* utorrent solved the problemCPU load now between 2-5%.. possibly a config file problem me didn't trash the preferences first to test with 0.9.0.3 (coming from 0.9.0.4)it doesn't seem to have happened before using 0.9.0.4... after un-/rechecking DHT Preferences twice in 0.9.0.3 problem didn't happen again / CPU only went up to about 10% with DHT else it is about 2%) .. likely to be a leak in DHT in 0.9.0.4 ?? with DHT enabled in 0.9.0.3 it fluctuates between 3 and 10% CPU loadPlease don't link to old versions of uTorrent. We don't support them and as such, people shouldn't be downloading them anymore.
