burlesque Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 hey there,a couple of nights ago my internet went down for about 8-10 h, when it was back up my speeds etc were back to its normal state... however, when i was trying to use uTorrent again my dl-speed was drastically reduced as it was limited or something, it doesnt matter how many seeds i am connected to, it still hovers around 60-90 kB/s maximum, normally (before the downtime) I reach around 3 MB/s. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. for what it's worth, when I traceroute it always times out, i'm not sure there's a connection with the problem I just described though.as mentioned, any help is appreciated. thanks in advance. (Maybe your ISP is routing all local internet services through only 10% of the normal lines because the others are down?)1st and 2nd links in my signature for general troubleshooting.
