µTorrent + ChecksumError = MASSIVE systemlag

I'm using µTorrent for ages now and never noticed any problems.

But now... now i got strange sys lags on each Checksum Error in the torrent i'm downloading.

Lags means: I can do nothin, realy nothin except of hearing strange sounds about 2-5minutes.

After that lag, the Displaydriver resets also.

Different torrents, different µTorrent cfg, same problem.

I'm nearly to 100% sure the problem is caused by the JMicron RAID driver.

At least i didn't changed anything else, may some windows updates.

So why just don't back to the old RAID driver?!

This would mean back to startup bluescreens and randomly write protecteted partitions also -.-

Get rid of KAV to test.

Sry didn't wrote i allready tried that.

Disabling KAV unluckily is NOT the solution

I also tried different LAN drivers for my onboard LAN chip, Windows default to some Realtek versions

and i'm NOT using WLAN, DHCP, UPNP.

My whole network is cable connected and configured manually.

Stopping it may not be enough. Start > run > services.msc do you see anything there??

Have you run a chkdsk ??

i didn't just stop the AV

I disabled all KAV autoruns, set service to disabled and did a reboot.

Like i said, i'm pretty sure it's the RAID driver, probably it isn't coded that well but BitComet works fine, just don't want to change the client =/

with older ones of that RAID driver i didn't had any lags BUT, same like i read here anywhere. uTorrent statusbar tells something like "disk overload" and the

DL speed went down to 0 and then high again and now... now it's unuseable =/

I don't don't use any TCPIP patchers or anything, so max half open is 8.

Or it's just Disk chache problem with RAID 0 and i would be able to fix it by setting other chaching values.

But i dont know what that options means.

oh and.. the Disks are pretty fine ...

I also noticed this on OTHER VITSA64 MASCHINES, just not as heavy as my PC but it's on others too!

Did you ever ran uTorrent in background and played a game or watched a movie?!

Did you ever noticed very very short sound scratchers while doing that? (Hears like something was wrong in Game or movie) and you just did not care

Well you found the bug I'm talking about..

It's caused from anything what happened when uTorrent get's a CHecksumerror.

On ym Mashine it is that short or the sound scratcher are about 2-5minutes and i can NOTHIN that while.

The Different to others systems? RAID 0

And Vista also was reinstalled since i did my 1st post here.

The problem is definitally UTORRENT!
