hey guys...

Let u in on my situation.

My utorrent was working perfectly. I was getting download speed at 33 kB/s and up speed at 10 kB/s. All my ports were forwarded properly. There was a green tick at the bottom.

Here were my settings:

Upload speed - 10 kB/s

Down speed - 0 kB/s[unlimited]

max no of active torrents -2

max no of active downloads -2

global max no of connections - 200

max no of connected seeds per torrent-50

no of upload slots per torrent-4

I am behind a router. DLINK 2640T. But as i said all my ports are forwarded properly.

Enable UPNP port mapping is checked

Enable NAT-PMP port mapping is checked.

Protocol encryption disabled.

antivirus is nod32 with utorrent added to exceptions.

firewall was zonealarm with utorrent added to exceptions.

windows xp service pack 2

This above setting was working perfectly for a year now.

For a torrent it used to say:

seeds 6(209)

peers 14(197)

This above setting was working perfectly for a year now.

NOW since 2 days back it says

seeds 0(0) OR 1(1).[i have gone to the torrent webpages(usually public sites) and it shows about 2967 seeders]

peers 0(986)

AND since 2 days back...all my torrents have been saying offline(timed out) or connection closed by peer....97% of the time it says offline(timed out).

I have no clue what is the problem. I am blank.I have read many forums posted the same situation in other forums. But nothing helped.

So if anyone can help me i will glad...

thanks in advance..:)

I was talking about this in the other forum they said its cuz of the destroyed cables under the sea near egypt and italy.so ...i will wait a few more days..
