magellany2k Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 hi...I have versoin 1.8.1 and my primary drive "c" was getting full.SO i moved the data and the torrent to a new drive...e.g., G:I thought I changed the preferences correctly!I can right-click on the name and open the folder and all of the data is there...but the name now has a red X and the status says "Error:..Can't open .torrent file: ..."I moved/migrated the *.torrents from Drive C to Drive G and setup the preference, but there are two fields..."Store torrent in..." & "Move torrent for finished job to:..." which is the corrent choice and what is the followup step do I do, do I do A RE-CHECK in order for the Red X to go away...thanks in advance & Happy Holidays..magellan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DreadWingKnight Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 Those settings aren't retroactive to already loaded torrents.You need to set download location on the partial files after you move them (while stopped) to update them.
