hoaxer Posted December 27, 2008 Author Report Posted December 27, 2008 0 peers, 0 seeds, its a popular file so i dont know why its saying that(oasis new album) trackers tab: the piratebay: no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it jamedo.com..same reply mightynova..same reply peer exchange:working local peer discovery:working [DHT] waiting for announce logger: error opening windows firewall...but this i have read is normal and to ignore it.
moogly Posted December 27, 2008 Report Posted December 27, 2008 logger: error opening windows firewall...but this i have read is normal and to ignore it.To fix this minor detail you can do that:Quit uT.Enable Windows Firewall.Erase the exception about uT if it exists.Start uT.Unblock uT when Windows Firewall pops up.Disable Windows Firewall.
cancer_22sf Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 I have the same problem as above. Had downloaded and seeded files previously. Currently, all the files for downloading/seeding are in the inactive list since the last 5 days. I tried to uninstall/install uTorrent (including the previous version); run my pc without shutting down for the last 3 days; did the advise above (' bout windows firewall) but still unsuccessful. Please help.
C00pers73 Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 I am having the same problem. DHT 0 nodes (login) or waiting to loginI have had this problem once before and can't remember what I did to fix it if anything. I recently installed a wireless modem/router which I have set up a wireless network on. could this effect it?
moayyad25 Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Please help me as well as i am facing the same issue of DHT: 0 nodes (Login) and after sometime Waiting to log in. trackers go offline immediately as i start my download. i tried a couple of things which were mentioned in the above link but to no avail. Please advise.
C00pers73 Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 I have set up a static IP address and am port forwarding correctly and I still get nothing.
hoaxer Posted December 29, 2008 Author Report Posted December 29, 2008 ive just found out my java runtime is corrupt, cant install upgrades at this time-still working on it. does utorrent require java to enable it to download?
hoaxer Posted December 29, 2008 Author Report Posted December 29, 2008 weird that ive suddenly had all these damn problems, cant be a coincendence. utorrent, sopcast, and java installer all having trouble with network yet i can surf without probs. if i ring my isp(virgin uk) i will be put through to a shitty indian call centre, and they have a 300 point checklist before we even start,299 of them are rebooting modem erm like 299 times :/ sigh
He Qi Sheng Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Got the same issue here in Dubai. Have gone through the checklists as advised elsewhere and still nothing. Even tried uninstalling / reinstalling and a new bittorrent client..no joy. I thought it might be something to do with the cable cuts in the Med, but everything else on the net working fine and at good speed. I'm not a techy by any stretch of the imagination so this is really testing me! Was wondering if anything to do with the new version, my location, or just I'm just plain dumb...
