# EVERYTHING you've tried so far, including ANYTHING listed above (please be as explicit and specific as you can). Tell us what your changed settings are.

I have followed all of the instructions posted by Ultima as per

I honestly do not remember everything I have changed but I have pretty much

followed the link given above to the letter.

# Color of the network status light in µTorrent's status bar (at the bottom of the µTorrent main window)

Currently, I have the red circle with !

# What the port checker from the Speed Guide writes

Error! Port 39555 does not appear to be open.

I followed all of the directions given on portforward.com

Be sure that you aren't using your connection for any other reason besides testing, while testing. That means no downloading, no IMing, no µTorrent running, no browser activity (other than the testing), etc. Additionally, no other computer on your network (if any) should be using the connection. When you select a testing mirror, use the ones that are geographically closest to you.

These settings are so bad that they help no one.

If you CANNOT raise your upload speed, use this:

Upload Limit: 4 KB/sec Upload Slots: 1 Connections (per torrent): 30

Connections (global): 30 Max active torrents: 1 Max active downloads: 1

So you're actually double-firewalled by 2 routers between your computer and your modem?

That's usually a royal mess...best to either put the "inner" router (farthest form the modem) in bridge mode

OR remove 1 router

OR connect your computer to the router that's directly connected to the modem.

Hi, I had the same problem (updated to SP3, firewall disabled, router DMZed) and this solution fixed it:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/sharedaccess.htm

"rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection Ndi-Steelhead 132 %windir%\inf\netrass.inf"

Apparently SP3 screws around with the windows firewall settings and somehow enables it (despite it being disabled).

Anyhoo, hopefully this will help, it did for me.

So I rechecked.

Under SETUP

Automatic Configuration - DHCP

Router IP: Local IP Adress 192.168.1.1

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

DHCP Server: 192.168.1.100

Under SECURITY

only Filter Multicast & Filter IDENT(Port 113) are checked

Under APPLICATIONS & GAMING>Port Range Forward

I am using a static IP address of 192.168.1.102

Under STATUS

IP Address: 208.51.232.254

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.128

Default Gateway: 208.51.232.129

DNS1: 209.55.5.10

DNS2: 209.55.5.11

Hopefully, this is all the info you need.
