sypher Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 When downloading at around 800 kb / 1.5 mbytes per second and up the pc starts ... skipping. Its noticeable when im watching a movie and downloading, it just starts skipping in the movie, mouse moves slowly, and stuff like that ...Core 2 T5500 (1.66ghz) , 2gb of ram 667, 32 bit vista ultimate....But when i download in lan i can of course download at up to 10/11 mbytes per second ... Dont know ... any hints?
DreadWingKnight Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 Hijackthis log and process explorer process list with the dll list for the utorrent.exe process please.
sypher Posted December 30, 2008 Author Report Posted December 30, 2008 omg ... look who is here u the same that was in bishi-wallpapers thousands of years ago ? Here's the logshttp://pastebin.com/m2e5273fe
thelittlefire Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 Hmm, you didn't have utorrent.exe selected with DLL-mode enabled (Ctrl-D) in Process Explorer did you :/That's alot of bluetooth monitoring apps. I seem to recognize Apoint... can you stop/disable that temporarily?B-W was quite a thing back when torrents were "new" <nostalgia>
sypher Posted December 30, 2008 Author Report Posted December 30, 2008 ops sorry for the mess up ... Here's with dll mode enabled. http://pastebin.com/m388fb5fb
aniketkamble1100 Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 I have also experienced this . . . uT crashes for speeds > 5-8 mbps ( varies with PC configuration ) , memory usage which is normally 2-3 mb drastically grows to 45-50 mb and ultimately it crashes with report something like this(not exactly) -''could not follow the instruction refrenced at (some number)x(some number) ''
DreadWingKnight Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 I see kapersky injected into uT. Try with it uninstalled temporarily. And to your earlier question about me: yes. And you fail at being present.
sypher Posted December 30, 2008 Author Report Posted December 30, 2008 Tried with kaspersky off, didnt do a thing ... the problem still arises.aniketkamble1100, it aint my problem, i dont get crashes, just slow down but memory-wise its still the same as before ... Its strange. DWK, i stopped ircing; work took my life ... >_>
DreadWingKnight Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 You try enabling the disk cache bypass (check the bottom 2 options in preference - advanced - disk cache)?
sypher Posted December 30, 2008 Author Report Posted December 30, 2008 not yet, will try now n let ya know thanksedit: no such option solved. it was kaspersky. disinstalled it and now its fine ... license was about to expire anyway ... antivirus suggestions anyone ? ...
