death poet Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Hey everyone! Happy New Years!Ok, I'm new to Mac. I got it like 2 days ago. I just download uTorrent for my mac and it seems it ended up on my desktop as a hard drive or some thing. I moved it to applications but it is still there on my desktop. I have no idea what I'm doing. Little help please!
NoOneButMe Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 click on the white icon on your desktop and drag it to the trash.
macbuz Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 That white icon is a disk image containing utorrent, double click it and you will see the application. Drag that to your applications folder.
death poet Posted January 2, 2009 Author Report Posted January 2, 2009 thanks. i just had to restart my cpu
FancyPanda Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I had a similar problem but when I moved it to applications and then tried to open it nothing happened. I tried restarting as death poet said it worked but to no avail. I am very new to macs as well and would appreciate any help.
NoOneButMe Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Are you on Tiger or Leopard? (Hit the apple on the top left corner and go to About This Mac)
NoOneButMe Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Then you can not use uTorrent for mac at the moment.
FancyPanda Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Oh okay. Will I be able to in the future?
