su27k
Hi,I'm using latest 1.8.1 + WinXP SP2, the problem is just what the title says, if I choose Remove And -> Delete .torrent, the torrent is removed from utorrent, but the .torrent file still exists on harddrive.ThanksJim
DreadWingKnight
Are you looking at the location specified for .torrent storage in the preferences or are you looking at a location where you save the .torrents before loading them? su27k
I'm looking at the place where I saved teh .torrent file before loading them into utorrent. I don't have any setup in preference for storing .torrent, the 3 checkboxes under Directories->Location of torrents are all unchecked.
DreadWingKnight
Then you are expecting uTorrent to behave in a way it wasn't designed to.The "Delete .torrent" function deletes uTorrent's cached version of the torrent (stored in %appdata%\utorrent in your case). su27k
Ok, thanks for the explanation. Does this mean I can delete the downloaded torrent manually once it's added to utorrent since it has cached the torrent somewhere else?
Ultima
Yes, that is correct.
